World's Leading IT Security Certification Provider to Host Technical Hackers Combat Workshop Series in Hacker Halted APAC

EC-Council Academy

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA--(Marketwire - July 16, 2012) - EC-Council Academy will be hosting the Security360 workshop series at the upcoming Hacker Halted APAC, to be held on the 19th - 22nd November 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

These workshops are specifically designed by the world's leading ethical hackers and information security experts to address crucial information security matters in today's technology dependent business environment. All workshops are technical and will be conducted in a hands-on method.

This cutting edge series aims to arm the participants with every tip, tool and trick they need to fortify networks against malicious hackers.

"We do not believe in sugar-coating realities that someday, in the near future, organizations and their clients will be victims of cybercrimes. By hosting this workshop series, we hope to provide information security professionals with the know-hows to help prevent that," said EC-Council Academy managing director Wilson Wong.

The first workshop, "Run & Gun: Penetration Testing," will provide an offensive approach against network intrusions. This workshop will enable participants to adopt best practices and explore new and unconventional techniques in discovering network vulnerabilities, effectively gaining steps ahead of potential malicious intruders.

Next, will be a workshop on web applications hacking called "The Combat of Web Applications: Hackers vs. Developers." Take control of your web applications security with this in-depth show-and-tell workshop where participants will be exposed to potential damages by hackers on your web application -- preventions and cures included!

"Mobile Hacking: Dark of the Moon" is one for the nomophobics -- featuring hacker technologies on Android and iOS based devices. The competition between Android and iOS has THE operating system has bared a fresh target for hackers -- mobile devices. This workshop is revolutionary and will break the belief that mobile devices are secondary in the information threat watch list.

"The Art of Cyber War -- Network Hacking and Defense," the fourth workshop, is not a mockery of Sun Tzu's Art of War but a cyber environment complement. This segment of the series will comprehensively address best practices and strategies to ensure network security. The best defense is supposed to be offense, but here participants will learn the best of both.

The final workshop of the series, "Managing the Multiple Personalities of GRC," will leave the participants prepared to navigate diverse international cyber regulations and compliance law. It's crucial to grasp this now in order to mitigate long-term complications and consequences of cyber risks and enforceable regulations.

Participants can also look forward to the return of the Night Hack Live where ethical hackers will penetrate secured networks -- proving that no network is completely hack proof. Networks will be hacked in real time. This exclusive feature is designed to expose security professionals to world-class hacking technologies and strategies.

Seats are limited for the workshops and Night Hack Live -- participants are encouraged to sign up soon to avoid disappointment.

Hacker Halted APAC 2012 is endorsed by the Malaysian Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI) and Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC).

Bombardier Aerospace

FARNBOROUGH, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - July 16, 2012) - Bombardier Aerospace today concluded a successful week at the 2012 Farnborough International Airshow, where it had the opportunity to connect with business and commercial aircraft customers from around the world and announced up to $3.27 billion in firm orders and other commitments for its Q400 NextGen, CRJ and CSeries aircraft.

"We arrived at Farnborough with solid momentum following a strong first half of the year, and I'm delighted with the success we have had this week," said Guy C. Hachey, President and Chief Operating Officer, Bombardier Aerospace. "This airshow is a wonderful opportunity for us to connect with our stakeholders across the industry, and I'm very pleased with the level of interest and activity we're seeing in all of our aircraft programs and services."

"We have had a tremendous volume of traffic in our chalet, the CSeries Dome that houses the CSeries aircraft cabin demonstrator and flight deck, and the static display. We have proudly introduced our new brand promise, The Evolution of Mobility, to customers, suppliers, government representatives, industry partners and members of the media that we interacted with over the course of the week," added Mr. Hachey.

Since July 7, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announced firm orders and other commitments for up to 52 aircraft worth up to $3.27 billion US with China Express Airlines, airBaltic, Jazz Aviation LP and an undisclosed customer. Bombardier Commercial Aircraft has had a great start to 2012 with 154 orders, including firm and conditional orders as well as options, from 11 customers from across the globe. During the show, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft also briefed members of the media on the CSeries aircraft program, including on its discussions with Ilyushin Finance Co. and AirAsia, as well as held events with Nordic Aviation Capital, Flybe and Pratt & Whitney. The airshow was also an opportunity for Bombardier Business Aircraft to continue or start discussions with multiple customers and provide an update on its Learjet aircraft development programs. Canada's Chorus Aviation Orders Six Bombardier Q400 NextGenAirliners

Bombardier Aerospace

- Aircraft to be operated by Jazz Aviation under the Air Canada Express banner

- Jazz recently accepted Bombardier's milestone 400th Q400 aircraft

FARNBOROUGH, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - July 13, 2012) - Bombardier Aerospace announced today that Halifax, Nova Scotia-based Chorus Aviation Inc., the parent company of Jazz Aviation LP ("Jazz"), has placed a firm order for six Q400 NextGen airliners. The transaction involves the conversion to firm orders of six of the 15 options taken by Jazz with its original order for 15 Q400 NextGen airliners, announced on April 30, 2010. Jazz will operate the aircraft under the Air Canada Express banner.

Based on the list price of the Q400 NextGen aircraft, the order is valued at approximately $189 million US.

"We just took delivery of our 15th Q400 aircraft and we are very pleased to set in motion the acquisition of the next batch of aircraft to continue the modernization of the Jazz Aviation fleet serving our customer Air Canada and its passengers," said Joseph Randell, President and Chief Executive Officer, Jazz Aviation LP. "The Q400 NextGen airliner is a perfect complement to our fleet of Bombardier turboprops and regional jets and has served us extremely well from coast to coast on routes in Canada and the United States."

"Jazz has the distinction of being Canada's largest regional airline serving over 80 destinations in Canada and the United States. Its selection of the Q400 NextGen turboprop is an endorsement of the aircraft's unparalleled performance in short- and medium-haul regional airline service," said Mike Arcamone, President, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. "Airlines around the world are enjoying the full potential of this high-performance aircraft for regional operations in the 70- to 80-seat segment."

Jazz, which flies Bombardier aircraft exclusively and is the world's largest operator of Dash 8/Q-Series aircraft, accepted Bombardier's milestone 400th Q400 aircraft in June 2012. The carrier's current fleet includes 80 Dash 8/Q-Series turboprops and 51 CRJ Series regional jets. Jazz is the second largest airline in Canada in terms of fleet size and number of routes flown and forms an integral part of Air Canada's domestic and Canada-U.S. transborder market presence and strategy.

Including the Chorus Aviation order, Bombardier has booked firm orders for 434 Q400 and Q400 NextGen airliners and delivered aircraft are in service with approximately 40 operators in 30 countries, on six continents. These aircraft have transported more than 177 million passengers and have logged more than 3.2 million flight hours and over 3.5 million take-offs and landings.

About Q400 NextGen aircraft

The Q400 NextGen turboprop airliner, which is built at Bombardier's Toronto, Ontario facility, is the most recent development in the evolution of the Q400 aircraft, and the advanced successor to Bombardier's Dash 8/Q-Series family of aircraft. Optimized for short-haul operations, the "comfortably greener," 70- to 80-seat Q400 NextGen aircraft is a large, fast, quiet and fuel-efficient turboprop. It provides an ideal balance of passenger comfort and operating economics with a reduced environmental footprint.

The Q400 airliner was designed to meet the requirements of contemporary regional air transport, characterized by both turboprop and jet missions. Setting new environmental standards, the Q400 aircraft uses 30 to 40 per cent less fuel and produces 30 to 40 per cent fewer emissions on routes where it has replaced similar-capacity, older jets. The Q400 aircraft's maximum cruise speed of 360 knots lets the aircraft fly on demand-driven interchangeable schedules with jets. However, the Q400 aircraft can slow down to achieve fuel parity with other turboprops on a per-seat basis, while still maintaining both speed and cost advantages.

The Q400 NextGen aircraft features an enhanced cabin environment with the introduction of LED lighting, new ceiling panels, dished window sidewalls and larger overhead luggage bins. These features, combined with the aircraft's Active Noise and Vibration Suppression (ANVS) system, provide an excellent cabin experience for passengers.
